YouthBy is a program-information directory. It is not a registration platform, an agency, or a party to anything that happens at a program.

What this site is

YouthBy collects and organizes information that providers, municipalities and community organizations publish about their own programs, and links to where that information came from. Browsing is free and needs no account.

Who runs the programs

The organization offering a program controls it: enrollment, prices, refunds, scheduling, cancellations, supervision, staffing and whether a place is available. Those decisions are theirs, and any agreement a family makes is with them.

What a listing does and does not mean

A listing is a record of what a source published, checked against that source. It is not a guarantee. A published program does not mean a seat is open, that a given age is accepted in a given class, or that anything has been inspected by YouthBy. Details change, and providers change them without telling us. How we research listings sets out exactly what a source check establishes.

Where a detail is unknown, the listing says so. An unpublished fee is not free, and neither is a free trial.

Corrections and submissions

Anyone can suggest a program or report a problem with a listing, using the forms under For providers. Sending one does not create a listing, does not change one, and does not give anyone ownership of or edit access to a record. We check a request against the provider's published page before the public listing changes, and we may decline a request the source does not support.

Please do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.

Content

The guides, the research notes and the site's own text are ours. The program information itself belongs to the organizations that published it, and each listing links to them for that reason. Names and marks of providers remain theirs. If you believe something here misrepresents you or infringes a right, say so through the contact form and we will look at it.

Availability

The site is offered as it is, and may change or be unavailable. We try to keep the guides accurate, and the limits described on the research page are part of the service rather than a disclaimer bolted onto it — a wrong fact is worse than a missing one, which is why unknowns are shown as unknown.
