Built by parents who got tired of searching
15 different websites just to find the right program.
Needham's youth sports scene runs on volunteers. The town's own youth sports page is explicit that the local leagues are independently volunteer run rather than coordinated by Park & Recreation — and that is before you count the recreation classes, community education courses and camps, many of them taught by outside vendors. But finding all of it is another story. The information is scattered across league websites, school portals, Facebook groups, word of mouth, and paper flyers.
We built Needham Youth Sports to put everything in one place. Every program, every season, every age group. Search, filter, compare, and plan — all without creating an account or downloading an app.
YouthBy Needham is an independent guide, built by the team behind YouthBy's other town guides. It is not run by the Town of Needham, by Needham Public Schools, or by any of the leagues it lists.
That independence is the point. Every listing names the organization that actually runs the program, and every card carries a link to the page it was researched from. If we have something wrong, you can see where we got it and tell us.
We're just getting started. We're working on expanding our program database, adding more features to help parents plan their kids' sports seasons, and building partnerships with Needham's youth sports organizations and leagues.
Have a program we're missing? Know something we got wrong? We'd love to hear from you.
