Built by parents who got tired of holding
five different registration logins in their heads.
Wherever you are, signing a child up for one activity usually means several different accounts on several different websites. The town's recreation department takes one set of registrations. The school district's community education arm is a separate organization on a separate system. The after-school care providers, the volunteer sports clubs and the private studios each take their own. None of them are broken. They are just separate — and the effect on a parent is that you can never see them side by side.
None of these are broken. They are just separate. But the effect on a parent is real: you cannot compare a town gymnastics class with a club gymnastics class, because you never see them side by side.
We built this guide to put it in one place. Every program, every season, every age group. Search, filter, compare, and plan — all without creating an account or downloading an app.
YouthBy Greenfield is an independent guide, built by the team behind YouthBy's other town guides. It is not run by the City of Greenfield, by its school districts, or by any of the organizations it lists.
That independence is the point. Every listing names the organization that actually runs the program, and every card carries a link to the page it was researched from. If we have something wrong, you can see where we got it and tell us.
It is also why we leave gaps visible. Lacrosse and track & field have no listings here yet. Both categories stay on the home page and say so when you click them, because a blank space you can see is more useful than a category that quietly disappears. Where a provider does not publish its price, the card says that too — and carries no price band at all, rather than a guess.
We're just getting started. We're working on expanding the program database — the two empty categories are the first thing we want to fix — and adding more features to help parents plan a season across providers rather than one signup at a time.
Have a program we're missing? Know something we got wrong? We'd love to hear from you.
